Leadership Needs Better Tools
BIDs sit on a wealth of public and private data - incident reports, foot traffic, merchant feedback, city records - but too often it's trapped in spreadsheets, email threads, and institutional memory. Executive Directors are expected to manage operations, advocate at city hall, report to boards, and prove their impact, all without the platforms that the scale of their work demands.
Why SmartrBID
That gap is why SmartrBID exists and why we seek to empower BIDs with the data and tools to manage, measure, and advocate for the neighborhoods that matter most. The mission didn't come from a tech incubator. It came from the sidewalk - from firsthand experience with the communities BIDs serve and a belief that the people running them deserve better.
