SMS Notification Terms & Conditions for SmartrBID

These SMS Notification Terms & Conditions govern the text messaging service provided by SmartrBID ("we," "us," or "our"). By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance and Agreement

By submitting your phone number and clicking the opt-in confirmation, you agree to receive recurring informational and service-related text notifications (SMS/MMS) from SmartrBID. You understand that your full name, email address, and phone number are collected pursuant to our Privacy Policy.

2. Service Purpose (Notifications Only)

The SmartrBID text notification service is intended only to provide non-marketing, service-related alerts and updates. These may include, but are not limited to, account status changes, system alerts, crucial updates regarding the SmartrBID service, and information directly related to your activity within the Service.

3. Consent and Eligibility

  • Express Consent: You give your express, written consent to receive these non-marketing text messages at the phone number provided, which may be sent using an automated telephone dialing system or similar technology.
  • Warranties: You warrant that you are the sole and authorized subscriber of the wireless number you provide, or that you have been authorized by the subscriber to receive texts at that number. You are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

4. Message Frequency and Cost

  • Frequency: Message frequency is variable and depends directly on your activity and engagement with the SmartrBID Service.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply to any text message you send or receive. Please consult your wireless provider for details on your plan. SmartrBID is not responsible for these charges.

5. Opt-Out and Support

  • To Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive text messages from that program.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is." SmartrBID and its agents are not liable for any delays or failures in the receipt of any SMS/MMS messages, as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your mobile network operator. We are not liable for any damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the text service.

All information collected, including your full name, email, and phone number, is subject to the SmartrBID Privacy Policy, which is available at Privacy Policy.
